Cyprus to issue new 13-week Treasury bills at estimated 2.95-3.05% yield
Cyprus will issue new Treasury bills on Monday, November 25, 2024, with a 13-week maturity period ending February 28, 2025. The bills are expected to yield between 2.95% and 3.05% on an annualised basis.
Treasury bills have attracted increasing interest from both private and corporate investors. The previous auction for €25 million worth of bills drew bids totalling €93 million.
Sophic, an investment platform operated by Athlos Capital, plans to secure a portion of the issue to distribute to its clients, continuing its practice from previous offerings.
The Treasury bills are marketed as a safe-haven investment offering attractive returns for retail investors and businesses looking to optimise their liquidity management.
